Last week, a company called me back to set up an interview with me again this week. This is a company I talked to in October, interviewing with two people, one of whom--the more business-type one--was clearly unimpressed with me. Apparently, this guy is no longer with the company.
This time I interviewed with four people, and they called me back that afternoon to let me know they were going to send an offer letter to me.
I haven't returned the signed offer letter quite yet--they let me negotiate an unusually late start date, so I have the opportunity to get a retention bonus where I'm at now. (This is still not a given, I don't think, but I'm hoping.)
And, beyond that, I finished the website I've been working on, for the World Tree RPG. I'm pretty happy with the way it came out, although it'd be nice if the front page could load faster. (It's a clear case where I need PNG to be a widely-supported graphics standard; I need transparency, so I can't use JPEG compression for the main image.) For the record, Photoshop's ability to optimize graphics to a specific file size is pretty damn cool.
