Happy 4th of July.</p>

I'm back from a trip to the Keys with a friend; Rick used to work at the Dolphin Research Center on Grassy Key. It was a kind of odd trip but a good one. I'd like to go back--when it's not as hot.

I managed to get a little farther in the notes for the dragon novel, too. Maybe someday I'll get far enough to learn if the story's actually worth writing--hopefully I won't be so tired of it by then I'm unable to get started on the actual text! Yes, I'm serious about that worry. This is kind of a test as to how well Dramatica works for me--I want to see if my muse loses interest if the plot is completely plotted out ahead of time. (If it does, it may not bode well for writing complex novels.)
